Outpatient Therapy
Outpatient therapy fits around work, school and family: scheduled sessions, in person or by telehealth, with a licensed therapist.

Most people start with individual therapy: one-on-one work with a therapist on what is going on, the patterns behind it, and what to do differently.
Therapists here use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-focused approaches, solution-focused therapy and motivational interviewing, depending on what fits.
Family therapy brings in the people you live with, to work on communication and on relationships that mental illness has strained.
Telehealth sessions happen over a secure video link from home. Therapists see children, teens and adults.
Call (270) 689-6879 or request an appointment online. Walk-ins are welcome at our outpatient locations.

What to Expect
Treatment starts with an assessment of your concerns, history and goals. Sessions last 45 to 55 minutes. Most people start weekly and move to every other week or monthly as they make progress; you and your therapist decide the pace together.
When you and your therapist agree you’ve met your goals, you plan the ending together: how to hold onto the progress, and when to come back if you need to.
