Mental Health Resources and Support
A short list of things that help, whether you’re in treatment or just reading: crisis numbers, an online library, peer support and resources for families.

If you or someone you know is in crisis, help is available 24/7. Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or chat online at 988lifeline.org. For medical emergencies, call 911. RiverValley’s crisis services are also available around the clock at (800) 433-7291.
CredibleMind, linked from the top of this site, is a free online library of articles, videos, apps and tools on topics from managing stress to understanding a specific diagnosis.
Our Peer Support program pairs you with a certified specialist who has been through mental health recovery themselves.
The basics still matter: sleep, exercise, regular meals and time with people. None of them replace treatment, but all of them make it work better.
Family members and caregivers need support too. NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) offers education programs and support groups for families at nami.org. If money is a problem, our staff can connect you with patient assistance programs and community resources.
Call (270) 689-6879 or request an appointment online. Walk-ins are welcome at our outpatient locations.
