Referring a Patient to RiverValley
RiverValley works with physicians, hospitals and other providers across Western Kentucky. Referrals are one fax, intake happens within one to two business days, and with the patient’s consent you hear how treatment is going.

We see patients of all ages and offer every level of mental health care, from outpatient therapy to ACT and in-home programs, so a patient can start at the right intensity and move as needs change.
To refer a patient, fax the referral form along with relevant clinical information to (270) 689-6899. Our intake team will contact the patient within one to two business days to schedule an initial appointment. For urgent situations, call us directly at (270) 689-6879.
We accept most major insurance plans, Medicaid and Medicare, and offer sliding-scale fees based on income for patients who are uninsured or underinsured.
With the patient’s consent, we send progress updates and coordinate care with your office. Call if you want to discuss a case or plan treatment together.
If you aren’t sure whether a patient is a fit, our clinical team can talk it through with you before you refer.
Call (270) 689-6879 or request an appointment online. Walk-ins are welcome at our outpatient locations.
