ROSES For Moms – Maternal Recovery Program

ROSES For Moms is RiverValley’s program for pregnant and parenting women in recovery from substance use. ROSES stands for Recovery, Opportunity, Support, Empowerment and Success.

Mothers and babies bonding together during a maternal recovery support program

Working on recovery while raising a child is harder than doing either alone. The program is built around that, treating you as a mother and as a person at the same time.

Services include case management, behavioral and physical health care, housing assistance and career development, from a team of therapists, peer support specialists, nurse practitioners and care managers.

ROSES For Moms is open to any mother, regardless of income, insurance or employment.

The program connects with The Amethyst Center, RiverValley’s residential program for women and mothers, with outpatient counseling, and with KY Moms MATR (Maternal Assistance Towards Recovery). The same teams run all of them, so moving between programs doesn’t mean starting over.

RiverValley also founded the Maternal Health Council, which brings together area providers to expand maternal health services across the region.
